Processing & Dispatch

Live Animals: Orders containing live fish or invertebrates are shipped Monday - Wednesday (depending on location) only, to avoid weekend delays.

You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Methods

Live fish are shipped via The Courier Guy .
Packaging

All live animals are carefully packed in oxygenated bags, insulated boxes, and heat/cool packs if needed (depending on the season).
Delivery Requirements

Someone must be available at the shipping address to accept delivery on the first attempt.

Failure to receive or collect the package may void our Arrive Alive Guarantee (see separate policy).
Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are shown at checkout and depends on your order size. However, larger or delicate orders may require additional insulated boxes or special packaging. If this happens, we’ll contact you with the updated shipping cost before sending your order.

Live animals ship within South Africa only.

Shipping includes 1x poly box and courier cost.
Delays & Issues
While we work hard to ensure timely delivery, once a package is with the courier, delays caused by weather, strikes, or other unforeseen issues are beyond our control. We’ll always assist in tracking and resolving courier-related problems as best as possible.
