Bromothymol Blue is a chemical pH indicator liquid used in aquariums to monitor water acidity and measure  levels in planted tanks. It changes color based on pH: yellow (acidic, <6.0), green (neutral/optimal, ~7.0), and blue (alkaline, >7.6). It is commonly used in drop checkers to indicate proper  dosing.
