Echinodorus subulatus (sometimes listed as Helanthium tenellum or Narrow Leaf Sword) is a hardy, grass-like, or narrow-leafed foreground-to-midground aquarium plant. It features narrow, spear-shaped leaves that can grow 30cm+ (12”+) high, although regular pruning can keep it smaller. It thrives with nutrient-rich substrate, moderate light, and CO2, making it excellent for beginner planted tanks.
