The Golden Cloud Fish, or more accurately the Golden White Cloud Minnow (Tanichthys albonubes 'Gold'), is a popular freshwater aquarium fish found in South Africa but is tank-bred, originating from China. It has a shimmering golden body, red accents on its fins and tail, and grows to about 4 cm long. This hardy, peaceful, schooling fish is excellent for beginner aquarists and community tanks, preferring cooler temperatures but tolerating a range suitable for unheated or tropical setups.
