Melanochromis johannii (Electric Blue Johanni) is a highly territorial and aggressive Mbuna cichlid from Lake Malawi, reaching 4–5 inches (10–13 cm). They are best known for striking sexual dimorphism: males are vibrant electric blue with black stripes, while females and juveniles are bright orange/yellow.
