The Red Wagtail Platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) is a vibrant, peaceful livebearer characterized by a brilliant red body and distinctively solid black fins. These omnivores typically grow up to 7.5 cm and live 3–5 years. They thrive in groups of five or more preferring temperatures of 24–28°C and a pH of 7.0–8.0.
